Foundation in partnership with the Shreveport Regional Arts Council.
The BAC has maintained the only business center managed by an arts council in the State of Louisiana. The center offers assistance at no charge. In addition to providing service to artists and arts organizations, the BAC Artist's One Stop is open and available to all citizens of Bossier Parish. The One Stop is open during BAC business hours.
The BAC Artist's One Stop gives local artists access to technology and training to further their ability to present their careers as either vocational or professional artists. The BAC Artist's One Stop is aimed at discovering artists in their earliest stages of development and providing services that include photography, resume and artist's statement development.
Once these "preparatory" services are completed, artists will receive BAC certification and engage the Central ARTSTATION Arts Resource Center to continue on a Professional Career Track. The Artist's One Stop is equipped with a Konica-Minolta printer/scanner/copier and allows artists to make full-color printed materials at cost. There is also a digital camera, tripod, gallery lighting, a backdrop for photographing artwork, computers with internet access and Microsoft Office.
