“ROCKY HORROR” LIKE YOU’VE NEVER SEEN IT BEFORE
Bossier City, LA – January 24, 2012 – East Bank Theatre presents the cult classic musical, “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” February 9-11 and February 16-18 at 8:00pm with a midnight show on February 10. East Bank Theatre is located at the Bossier Arts Council, 630 Barksdale Blvd, Bossier City, LA.
Written by Richard O’Brien, Rocky Horror has been thrilling, chilling, and fulfilling audiences for decades. The upcoming East Bank production, under the direction of Marissa Brown, will be equally thrilling, combining scenes from the 1975 film with aspects of the original stage production. This production features Cory Olson as Dr. Frank-n-Furter.
“I am honored to be working with this wonderful cast and crew and can’t wait to bring this kind of iconic show to life in Shreveport-Bossier,” says Olson.
Other cast members include Elise Birmingham as Janet, Kevin Hippler as Brad, Chelsea Hockaday as Columbia, Lizzie Drexler as Magenta, Don McCoy as Dr. Scott, and Mat Latz as Riff Raff. Clint McCommon, a member of the Bossier Arts Council Board of Directors, will also be making his stage debut as Eddie.
“I’m super excited to see a show like Rocky Horror at East Bank,” says McCommon. “It’s definitely a new direction for the theatre that I am glad to be a part of.”
