DigiFest South is an annual digital arts festival and technology career fair that celebrates how digital technology combined with artistic creativity shapes modern society. Presented by the Bossier Arts Council, the event includes a digital art exhibition by students and independent artists, and a career fair featuring the most cutting edge companies and educational institutions in the region.
Participants include Academy Award Winner Moonbot Studios, Twin Engine Labs, Blade Studios, the Cyber Innovation Center, Venyu, and many more. The event exhibits digital art genres made possible by the latest technologies that include, but are not limited to:

The three day event is September 7-9, 2012 at the Bossier Civic Center in Bossier City, Louisiana. Doors are open 12:00 pm - 9:00 pm on Friday and Saturday and 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm on Sunday

TEDxRedRiver is a series of talks showcasing artistic creation utilizing technology and the economic and social impact it has on us past, present, and future. Participants include speakers from world class companies, and experts who specialize in digital media and state of the art technology. Academy Award Winner Moonbot Studios, Twin Engine Labs, Blade Studios, the Cyber Innovation Center, and Venyu are just some of the companies you will hear from.
The PHENOM FILM FEST (PFF) was created to offer exposure and advance public interest in independent films without distribution. The PFF will screen films that may never have been seen by the general public while showcasing the local region of Shreveport-Bossier City, Louisiana as a major film center for its' filmmaking resources and talent.

Attention programmers, artists, musicians, designers, and anyone else interested in making video games, Northwest Louisiana's first ever game jam is coming to DigiFest South. Nolan Baker of Moonbot Studios will be giving talks and tutorials throughout the jam on game design and development.
