September 20- November 1Reception: September 30 @ 5:30pmLive music by sax legend, Kenny Alderman from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. Kenny spent 13 years playing saxophone on Bourbon Street and moved to the Shreveport-Bossier area after hurricane Katrina. Devin Nelson is a Guest of Shreveport Pastel Society; he'll be showing his pastel that won the Lone Star Art Guild Convention year Show last May, 2010 in Houston in 500 paintings.  He's a home schooled young man with talent in art.

Viviano A Detroit native who has lived in Shreveport for 21 years, Pam earned a double B.A. in studio art and psychology from Michigan State University. Her emphasis was drawing, printmaking, and portraiture. In the last few years she has expanded her interests to include photography, which she has used to document her trips around the country and which she has exhibited at East Bank Gallery, Broadmoor Library, Louisiana Public Broadcasting Art & Travel Auction and the Meadows Museum Triennial Competitions I and II. Further Explanation: Each student is to create an Original piece of artwork that is expressive of themselves, their likes, or interests. Freedom of Expression is a fundamental value that art instills in students. We want this show to give students the opportunity to express the visions within themselves.
