Reception December 2, 2011 @5:30pm By Pamela G. Viviano A Detroit native who has lived in Shreveport for 21 years, Pam earned a double B.A. in studio art and psychology from Michigan State University. Her emphasis was drawing, printmaking, and portraiture. In the last few years she has expanded her interests to include photography, which she has used to document her trips around the country and which she has exhibited at East Bank Gallery, Broadmoor Library, Louisiana Public Broadcasting Art & Travel Auction and the Meadows Museum Triennial Competitions I and II. Her two public sculptures Mark Twain-Fish and Bistineau Blues Fish were included in the Volunteer For Youth Justice fundraiser Katfish 4 Kids. Pam’s approach to life is to have fun while teaching people to grow. She is a certified yoga teacher (experienced registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance) and has taught since 1994. Currently, she conducts retreats on art and yoga and private classes for children and adults. She has been a program manager for the Shreveport Regional Arts Council, Youth Enrichment Program (YEP), and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Caddo-Bossier. She is currently working on her Masters at LSUS.
