Brighton Beach Memoirs
Written by Neil Simon
September 19,20,26,27 @ 8:00PM
Sept 21 & 28 @ 2:00PM
Directed by Richard Folmer
Neil Simon’s unmatched humor underscores
his portrait of Eugene, a Brooklyn teenager in 1937 living with
his family in crowded, middle-class circumstances. How he and
his family deal with the twists and turns that life hands them
makes for a humorous and sometimes poignant evening of theatre.
The Snow Queen
Adapted by Stuart Paterson from the story by Hans Christian Anderson
December 5,6,12,13 @ 8:00 PM
December 7 & 14 @ 2:00 PM
Directed by Reagan Cassanova
One of the most beautiful of all fairy tales,
the timeless appeal of The Snow Queen lies in its persuading us that life
is truly magical. After the wicked Snow Queen casts her icy spell
on the world and captures young Kay, his friend Gerda must journey
North to attempt to break the Snow Queen’s wintry grip,
encountering talking ravens, evil spiders, robbers, greedy polar
bears and a brave reindeer along the way.
The Secret Life of Girls
Written by Linda Daughtery
January 16,17,23,24 @ 8:00 PM

Directed by Mary Joris
A window into the tumultuous world of a
group of middle school girls is opened in this dramatization
of the destructive effects of girls’ bullying. How the
girls deal with the sometimes hurtful aspects of peer pressure
is sometimes funny, sometimes heartbreaking, but definitely timeley.
